Analysis of the geometry of reactor filling with sorbent from microspheres and granules

Based on the simulation by the DEM method of filling the reactor with spherical particles having a size distribution and granules using the Monte Carlo method, such important characteristics of the medium as the volume concentration, the first and second moments of the particle distribution over space are calculated. These parameters are required to calculate the dynamics of gases through such a granular medium within the continuum approach of the mechanics of multiphase media.
